"adding years to their life
& life to their years"

Dr Katrina Gregory BVSc.MACVSc. Animal Acupuncture & Behaviourist

Veterinary Acupuncture & Animal Behavioural Consultant
"Dr Kat" initially trained as a vet and worked extensively as a physician in small animal emergency and critical care, and also in zoos and aquaria. She has acquired two post graduate qualifications - in anaesthesia and critical care, and also in animal behaviour/ ethology. She is now primarily recognised as a highly qualified and experienced applied animal behaviourist.

Over the past several years she has worked with people's pets and performance animals, and a
broad range captive exotic species - locally and internationally - to facilitate the creation of positive
resolutions to a diverse range of problems and challenges in animal behaviour and training.

Katrina has been privileged to work with every species of which any child has ever dreamt:
elephants, marine mammals, falcons, otters, great apes, sharks, stingrays, seahorses, meerkats,
cheetahs, lions, servals, jackals - and myriad more including, of course, the humans who passionately care for them.
During her travels, Katrina has worked alongside (and learnt from) some brilliant trainers with whom she has shared a mutual passion. Additionally she has worked professionally as a presenter in educational shows- particularly with free flight birds- primarily raptors and parrots.

You will find that in every aspect of her work-her approach is consistently collaborative. She
genuinely enjoys public speaking, teaching and sharing her many gifts and experiences with
everyone -animals and humans!

"Good training- it's not just about perfect behaviour, the goal is to create reliability, confidence and
trust -to create resilience in the human- animal relationship. Creating this style of training
relationship pays off most, when circumstances don't go quite as planned- which we all know can
occur at any moment. Because that's Life! ?"
