Canine Physiotherapy services

Michelle Graduated as a human physiotherapist in 1996 and worked in rehabilitation and hydrotherapy for 6 years before starting animal physiotherapy. She started her first clinic - Dogs In Motion Canine Rehabilitation in 2002 complete with indoor heated pool, underwater treadmill and rehabilitation gym.

In 2004 she completed her Masters of Animal Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland, winning the Dean's commendation award for academic excellence. Her Masters thesis on the effectiveness of physiotherapy in dogs after TPLO surgery published in the American Journal of Veterinary Research.

Since then she has helped thousands of dogs to improve their mobility and return to more normal lives.

Her vision is to make animal rehabilitation accessible to as many dogs and their owners as possible, to enable all dogs to reach their maximum mobility potential.

Michelle is pleased to provide a physiotherapy service at Aquapaws and to continue to improve the quality of life and longevity of dogs.
